Lush settles seamlessly against the backdrop of the Pilanesberg National Park Mountains, with a multi-level interior drifting outward in layered decks and open-air lounges where the veld hums beneath your feet.

Throughout the lodge, you will find intimate spaces where you can linger between game drives and wait for the day’s gentle surprises. While away time playing board games on enveloping couches, sip coffee in the bar lounge, or stargaze on the deck while absorbing the sights and sounds of the surrounding bush.
Partially fenced and overlooking a water hole, Lush invites closer and more intimate game viewing experiences. Leisurely walks and meals under leafy shade on the deck are often bejewelled by unexpected wildlife sightings, and casual conversations with fellow guests and gracious staff.

Bar & Coffee Lounge
Airy, yet laced with quiet corners, the Bar & Coffee Lounge feels like several hideaways, all positioned to borrow the bushveld breeze. Slip onto a couch, or settle at a table inside, or drift through wide doors to the veranda’s cushioned chairs and the deck’s sun-dappled tables to enjoy your choice from a selection of specialty coffees, and local and imported wines, beers, and spirits.
Main Lodge Area
The multi-level dining and lounge area serves both communal gathering and quiet respite in a single sweep of open plan which is warmed by two fireplaces in the cooler months. Minimalist décor gives centre stage to the bush views that pour in through sliding glass. Choose to recline on couches on the lower tier, claim a seat at a table, or perch at the railing with a sundowner.
Breakfast Bar
Our Breakfast Bar blends indoor and outdoor areas, and whether you choose a seat indoors with the aroma of roasting beans or outside where the bush seems close enough to touch, it encourages a leisurely start to the day. Help yourself to beverages and buffet choices during breakfast.
Viewing and Dining Deck
Our Viewing and Dining Decks offer a front-row seat to the Pilanesberg National Park’s daily theatre. Cushioned chairs and bistro tables fan out across the deck, calling you to settle in to sip on sundowners, enjoy a slow midday coffee, or dine under a canopy of stars.
Boma
Accessible from the main lodge by a single, wooden walkway, the Boma is a secluded enclave overlooking a water hole. During Boma evenings, flames leap in the central firepit, and the open kitchen comes alive. This is where genuine South African social outdoor dinners unfold.
Italian Wine Cellar
Our Wine Cellar conjures Italy more than the bushveld, with lanterns casting warm across intimate alcoves which branch off the main area. Each linen-clad table is just large enough for quiet conversation over authentic Italian-influenced cuisine.
Lush Boutique Curio Shop
Our small yet welcoming curio shop offers a thoughtful selection of bespoke gifts, trinkets, souvenirs, products and accessories which make wonderful gifts and keepsakes.
Spa and Gym
On the other, trained therapists work with local botanicals to unknot muscles after bumpy game drives or long flights. It is a place to balance the indulgence and excitement of your Lush adventures with rejuvenating wellness treatments and healthy activity.
